Syntaxsys --- Working Behind the Scenes

Syntaxsys has completed the first phase of a comprehensive IT infrastructure redesign and system rebuild and is providing ongoing IT Outsourcing services for movie industry leader Plus8digital.

This pioneering company is known worldwide for it's Digital Motion Picture Technology and is one of two companies providing George Lucas and his production company, Industrial Light & Magic, with the new generation 24p digital motion picture cameras used to produce Star Wars - Episode II: Attack of the Clones - the first major motion picture in history created completely digitally. [with out any film]

As part of this phase, Syntaxsys has also installed a VPN network between the Company’s facilities in Los Angeles, New York City and Vancouver Canada. In addition, it is developing Plus8's new database driven website and is providing consulting to Plus8 on the purchase and integration of a suite of enterprise grade front/back office solutions for accounting, rental, inventory, CRM and a related business needs.

The Syntaxsys team is currently developing two new web enable products:

This innovate new product is designed for the direct sales automation market.

This product will provide one of the first affordable job flow management solutions to the Pre-Press and Press industry.
PressFlow is an easy to use application that automates pre-press to press tasks - from the point they enter the operations [via physical delivery or via the internet] through archiving.

It distinguishes itself by it ease of use, robust capabilities, seamless web integration and affordable price.

Syntaxsys will be announcing beta testing dates in Q2-2002.
